This Privacy Policy describes how A. Meliora Relational Wellness ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information across our clinical therapy practice, our relational services for therapists, and our website at ameliorawellness.com. This policy applies to California residents and all other users of our Site and services. By using our Site or participating in any of our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
A. Meliora Relational Wellness is a licensed clinical therapy practice governed by HIPAA and California law. The collection, use, and disclosure of health information in connection with clinical therapy services is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes your rights as a therapy client and our obligations as a covered entity under HIPAA.
If you are a current or prospective therapy client, please review the Notice of Privacy Practices for complete information about how your protected health information (PHI) is handled.
Clinical therapy services and the protections that apply to them are entirely separate from the Tending Circle and Tending Notes. No clinical or PHI data is collected through or shared with either of those services.
A. Meliora Relational Wellness offers two services specifically designed for licensed therapists in solo private practice: the Tending Circle relational wellness community and the Tending Notes newsletter. Neither service is a clinical service, and participation in either does not establish a therapist-client relationship of any kind.
The privacy practices for each service are described in the sections below.
Nature of Service: The Tending Circle is not a therapy service and does not constitute or replace mental health treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or any licensed clinical service. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship of any kind.
No Contract by Inquiry: Contacting us with questions about the Tending Circle does not constitute, create, or imply any contractual agreement or obligation. A formal agreement is only established upon completing enrollment and payment through our membership portal.

Payments are processed through Stripe using secure encryption. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Our Site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about visitor interactions. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or social media tracking. You may opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The Tending Circle and our Site are not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at info@ameliorawellness.com.
Tending Notes is a monthly newsletter published by A. Meliora Relational Wellness for licensed therapists in solo private practice. It is not a clinical service and does not establish a therapist-client relationship of any kind.
When you subscribe to Tending Notes, we collect your name and email address only.
Your information is used solely to deliver Tending Notes to your inbox. It will never be sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
Tending Notes is delivered via Beehiiv. Subscriber data is stored on Beehiiv's platform in accordance with their privacy policy at beehiiv.com/privacy.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Tending Notes email. Your data will be removed from our mailing list promptly.
